About The Studio

Zohar Shaham is a ceramics design studio specializing in minimalist-handmade ceramic tableware & home-decor.

All of my pieces are made from natural clay using various techniques and are hand-colored and glazed with lots of love and care. My main work is through a slip casting mold technique, yet all of my pieces are born through my potter's wheel. I use lead-free glazing, which makes all of my pieces food-safe.
I use the highest quality materials and multiple burns in order to create long-lasting pieces that you can use repeatedly and even pass along as a family keepsake.

Due to the nature of handmade items, slight differences in colors and shapes may occur. I will always make sure that your pieces are just as lovely as the ones photographed on my website.

Thank you so much for choosing my handmade ceramics to be a part of your life and home.

Sincerely yours,

Minimalist Handmade Ceramics

About The Designer

My name is Zohar. I live in the southern district of Israel, in a beautiful small village. I love design, music, the desert, nature, hikes, my garden and animals, and most importantly, I’m Tomer’s mother. He also partakes in creating artwork for my ceramics.
I graduated from the ceramics department at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem, in 2005.
Since then, I design, create, and teach ceramics.
My idea is to create high-quality products, and I fulfill that on a daily basis.

Inspired by everyday life around my countryside home, I create designs that are functional as well as delicate and aesthetic in order to create harmony in every home.
My choices of colors, shapes, and patterns reflect my love for the nature surrounding me. My home is drenched in natural light, and I fill it with plants and hand-picked vintage items, in order to always be surrounded by beautiful and inspiring materials.
